Dr. Dennis Bailey is a specialist in the area of sleep related breathing disorders utilizing oral appliances as well as temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pain, and related headaches. His intensive 2 day course combines lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on instruction. You’ll be taught how to recognize and treat sleep related breathing disorders for both adult and adolescent patients. A pharyngometer will be demonstrated at the course.

PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

Dr. Mark Iacobelli has been teaching dentists how to better manage the business side of their practices for over 15 years. You will learn: (1)  how to analyze your practice’s financials and compare them to Dental Industry norms  (2) how to compile all necessary data (3) how to engage your team in more efficient business procedures. After completion of this course, you will have an effective business plan in place. L, P, 14 hours

The New Patient Exam and Consultation Process  OR 3A2          View Agenda
“You only get one chance” -  Dr. Iacobelli's comprehensive 2 day course will provide you and your team with a framework for a more efficient new patient process. The patient model used is that of the “Expanded Service General Dentist” and is tailored to that type of patient. Dr. Jay Gerber and Dr Peter Ferro will instruct this 3 session course on the diagnosis and treatment of occlusal and temporomandibular disorders that are treated in the dental practice. You will learn through lectures, demonstrations, video tapes, mini-clinics, and many “hands-on” lab exercises .In-office teaching centers are utilized throughout the course for optimum instructional benefit. L, P, 55 hours

Neuromuscular Occlusion Diagnosis, Treatment & TMD
Dr. Barry Cooper has been practicing neuromuscular dentistry for over 28 years His informative lectures and live demonstrations stress the correct usOrthodontic Trackage of the Myotronics Diagnostic System including TENS, Jaw Tracking (CMS), EMG, and Sonography  (ESG). You will learn: (1) the proper diagnostic and treatment techniques for finishing the restorative case (2) how to use computerized measurement of occlusion and mandibular/masticatory muscle function (3) accuracy and patient comfort in restorative dentistry and TMJ/TMD therapy (4) how to best use Myotronics K6i or K7 computerized devices.
